Lulworth to Durdle Door and back

Alison and I managed to get enough time without having to look after anybody to be able to take a drve to the coast and enjoy a walk starting from Lulworth. Maria is at the Pavilion for the dance show over the next four days and Joy was at church, so we parked up and headed up a steep hill out of Lulworth with incredible views back to the village and the sea beyond.

The walk was just over 4 miles and included one or two climbs and descents, Juno on the lead making the down bits worse than the ups. We stopped for coffee and a sandwich over looking Lulworth and were impressed by the number of small children in family groups making the steep climb out from the visitor centre.

The cove was crowded with the tide being right in and so we sepnt a little time walking up the main street enjoying the lovely properties and their gardens.

Ragwormers play Teddy Rocks

I think I have been slightly overdoing all the exercise and allotmenting lately and that culminated in feeling so physically tired on Friday...
