Dog walking

With the recent rain having swollen the rivers all over, there is so much mud about that walking Juno has become an enjoyable experience outside but less so once home and she needs cleaning off. The poor thing is barely getting beyond the utility room! Mind you we have been going a long way, averaging almost 6 miles a day this week, partly aided by the golf courses being closed due to waterlogging. We have been exploring parts of Remedy Oak I've not been to before including this rather surprsing bridge which Juno was a little apprehensive about crossing.

Maria's dance show has begun successfully and Alison and I will be watching tonight, something like four hours to enjoy for the most part, endure for some. It could do with editing, especially the long thank you part at the end of the run which goes on and on usually.

Still planning the trip abroad and booked in to sites in Calais, Bruges, Delft, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Reims and Paris with just the German sites to be sorted yet. I am going to take my electric bike given access to charging the battery. It is equipped with panniers which will be helpful and it is more robust and less likely to succumb to damage than my road bike over the course of the trip.
