Waterloo sunset

Thursday saw me travelling to London to attend a high powered teachers' conference addressed by all kinds of Govt advisors and specialists in their fields. I haven't been on the train for some time and enjoyed the experience much more than I used to in the past. The service is so much better and you were actually aware of what was going on. The trains are cleaner and more pleasant to experience despite the 6.30 start.

The walk from the station to the venue was lovely taking me across the Thames and into Drury Lane. From that point on it was downhill as the conference was almost worthless.
