Scorcher

The hottest days on record are on their way and we were at the beach at Durley Chine yesterday, the whole family, and had a lovely time. It was packed by the time we parked at 8.30 but we got ourselves nicely settled for the day and the children loved being in the water. There was certainly no problem with getting in and staying in with the water having warmed up over recent weeks.

As a treat and for our anniversary, we had a takeaway in the evening which rounded off a very good day.

Today I was off in the motorhome to West Moors allotment where the pumpkin is growing enormous and got the plants watered before unloading the bike and riding to Wimborne across Holt Heath. It was beautiful and a very relaxing ride to the allotment to dig up some potatoes and pick some peas.

Ragwormers play Teddy Rocks

I think I have been slightly overdoing all the exercise and allotmenting lately and that culminated in feeling so physically tired on Friday...
