It's been a lovely day with plenty of warm sunshine to enjoy and a great opportunity to take some photos to capture how colourful the garden is looking. After the early dog walk, out just after 6am, I ran to the West Moors allotment to water the plants and do some more weeding, although it was really just a good place to run to. After 5 miles I arrived in time to get an hour in before Alison picked me up.
We got out into the garden and did some more hedge trimming, planted a few seeds in a wooden box for the gravel garden which is taking on a Mediterannean feel with the bistro set and hours of sunshine.
Joseph and I had an adventure after school with a trip to the village green in the motorhome where we played with Juno before getting the cooker going to whip up a quick bolognese. I'm not sure how the neighbours felt with itinerant travellers cooking on the side of the road!
