Now that's a fire!

It has been fairly miserable weather of late and this morning has followed the same pattern. Poor Juno was filthy by the time she returned from the morning walk and had to spend a bit of time in the conservatory to dry and clean off. I was then straight out again before the rain really got going for a 5km run which left me with soaked trainers, socks and muddied legs from running through the trails in the woods.

The photo is from the woods around Remedy Oak golf course where the clear up from storm Eunice continues with the burning of some of the smaller branches. The smell of the smoke wove its way around much of the run and was a lovely touch being one of the most evocative and reassuring of smells for me.

Poor Alison has had to go to Poole Hospital to take Joy for an appointment and there is another one for her at Wimborne this afternoon, not the best way to spend the day. For me, I am back on the motorhome with just the bathroom left to clean after a productive afternoon inside yesterday and I have got plenty of cooking to do for everyone coming for tea.

Beach walk

We all seem to be ill. Maria's dance showcase on Saturday evening was great but since then it has been downhill. Alison has been in bed...
