We have had Evie and Amelia to stay for the weekend, and they will be enjoying a further week of sleepovers, as their new home is damp-proofed, along with other building works. That meant Joe and Kate were busy preparing for the various contractors to arrive this morning and they didn't come over until yesterday evening.
Joe is going to work from here, as will Kate, as far as she can with having to take Evie back to school and to collect her too. Amelia would have been joinging them on the commute but she has chicken pox instead! It is going to be quite a week.
Saturday was a washout with dull skies pouring rain throughout the day but we had plenty of sunshine yesterday. Today we've been out for a couple of long dog walks and I managed to fit in a 5km run, as well as making pasta salad for lunch and vegan chilli for tea, aided by Amelia who very much enjoyed helping out with the preparation.
