With fewer family commitments today, it has been the perfect opportunity to have a bit of a rest but I did go for 10 miles on the mountain bike with a 5km run in between. I did the run round Moors Valley after going down the tracks near Edgehill Ponds and had dressed up in leggings and three t shirts as it felt so cold.
There were still crowds of people enjoying the park which was surprising but I guess it is simply a matter of dressing appropriately for the conditions.
The photo includes a swan on the nest and there were sand martins swooping low over the water too.
