Allotment spring

The week has continued to provide plenty of opportunities to get outside and we've been keen to make the most of them. We took Amelia and Maria to the allotment with us yesterday in the motorhome where they watched a dvd and did some colouring whilst we did some digging, in my case, and planted some rosemary cuttings, in Alison's.

Not too wet which was a welcome sight after last year when the soil seemed waterlogged for months, and the garlic and braod beans continue to do  well.

Today I got out for a run before breakfast and took the photo showing sunrise at Remedy Oak golf course and then cycled to Joy's with Alison to cut the back lawn before walking to the crossroads and back on a litter pick. Plenty of fresh air and the prospect of more to come with dry days ahead till the weekend.

Beach walk

We all seem to be ill. Maria's dance showcase on Saturday evening was great but since then it has been downhill. Alison has been in bed...
