Family day

We were out early for a two mile dog walk this morning and then a 5km run which took me well under the 10 minute mile mark in the warming day. It wasn't long afterwards that Evie and Amelia arrived, followed by Jospeh and Bridie ahead of lunch which was early to ensure we had Maria ready for dance this afternoon.

In the meantime, Glen and I were down the road helping a recently widowed neighbour with the extensive lawns. We were having to use strimmers after the mowers failed to work.

In the afternoon we got on board the motorhome and took ourselves to the allotment to enjoy the animals and a visit to the tea shop where the children played in the lovely grounds. We had a good time and then spent the rest of the afternoon in the garden. Joy had joined us by this time and she was on good form.

Ragwormers play Teddy Rocks

I think I have been slightly overdoing all the exercise and allotmenting lately and that culminated in feeling so physically tired on Friday...
