Grass cutting after No Mow May

It's been a busy day already starting with a 2 mile run and then a trip to |Morrison's before hitting the traffic to Halford's to collect Alison's new bike and St Leonard's Hospital for her 2nd Covid vaccination.

As soon I was back I had to go off to the Ancient Technology Centre to ensure the tables and chairs hired for the weekend were successfully collected. Having done that, I have then just cut the grass in the garden for the first time in weeks after No Mow May.

There is a lot of traffic about and we seemed to avoid a number of hazardous situations as we drove including runners popping out between parked cars or stationary traffic.

Sadly we took Billy to the vets this afternoon as he has lost the use of his back legs to a large extent and is struggling to move at all. Having had him for so many years, he must be almost 20 at least, he is a big loss, especially after losing Maisy so recently too.

I was then back on the bike down to Joy's where I also cut her front and back lawns and filled the bird feeders and checked the vegetable plot. All looking good there. I left my bike there as I had forgotten a lock and needed to colelct a prescription from Morrison's which meant I walked abck the three miles to finish off my busy day.

My legs feel heavy after so much exercise but the shone shone throughout, so no complaining from me.

Beach walk

We all seem to be ill. Maria's dance showcase on Saturday evening was great but since then it has been downhill. Alison has been in bed...
