Play trail at Moors Valley

We'd planned a trip to Avon Heath Country Park but the motorhome was too high to get into the car park which meant a quick change of plan and a short journey to Moors Valley instead, a decision that turned out very nicely.

We parked up not long before the full signs went up which was lucky but the play trail was relatively quiet, particularly as you went on. You'll see from the photos just what a great set up there is at Moors Valley with so many different activites to enjoy and spread out over a large area which gives the children a sense of freedom and challenge.

For the first time in some while, I went across the tree top trail too and the others enjoyed an ice cream despite the chilly weather, the sun not really warming us under blue skies.

After a bit of lunch I am just back from a 5.5 mile run and ready for Friday evening. Might light the wood burner this evening. We shall see.

Beach walk

We all seem to be ill. Maria's dance showcase on Saturday evening was great but since then it has been downhill. Alison has been in bed...
