This goal is the one where Arn hit two spectacular own goals against Winterbourne Stickland for Cranborne several years ago. They were both impressive efforts with neither being a simple tap in. You can't buy class like that.
It's not quite the right picture from the Coach and Horses but almost. Should be close enough to please Kev.

i dont recall this goal (note no denial) but the second i remember. the opposition had put the ball past the keeper and only myself and a forward thundered after it. It was going in no question but denied thier forward the opportunity to increase his tally by sliding in first to poke it home. dont think he expected that!.
I presume Ian that the others told you it was me leaving comments earlier in your blog with lyrical overtones!
Even the distance between us didn't stop the shudder down my back at the thought of Doug's 'uniform's' failings.
