I wanted to capture a short video of Juno on one of her walks when she gets to be a springer spaniel. Quite often she is restricted by being on a path which prevents her running all over the place. She loves the woods with their freedom but she disappears from view and I worry about her getting lost and so this is a great compromise location near Martins Farm where a small wood was planted some years ago. It is becoming more mature now and is ideal for Juno who loves to bound and bounce through the undergrowth undeterred by any obstacle it seems. Her whole being comes alive with the propect of flushing an animal or, more usually, a bird, which she then follows as it flies off. You can see she is bred for it and the instinct is incredibly strong.
She is 28 weeks old now and loves her walks but is great with the family. I trust her with the children, although they are not left unsupervised with her just in case. Plenty of energy but come dark, she settles right down, again a dog with instincts for the wild.
