Winter fights back
The Spring Break began with some unseasonal weather as snow fell for the first time this winter. It was quite heavy for us in sunny Bournemouth but the dogs enjoyed their walk in the woods despite the unusual conditions. The bluebells are out in the woods but they were pretty much covered up in the snow.
Glen played in the afternoon with Rossgarth winning 3 - 1 in the cold but at least the snow had cleared by then. He is playing really well now and beginning to show aspects of a good all round game. It is his energy which marks him out still and it will be interesting in a couple of weeks when the development centre side play Plymouth to see how that translates into a game. Not sure who I'll be supporting yet.
We're off to Plymouth on Tuesday for a few days and staying at Yelverton which is on the edge of Dartmoor so I can visit some childhood haunts and I'm sure there'll be lots of photos.
Tomorrow though is a sporting day with a game of golf at Moors Valley followed by the unveiling of Sparkshop, the new Iscape at Wimborne in the first game for a few weeks. Match report to follow promptly for a change.
