Last weekend was Robin and Joy's 50th wedding anniversary and saw lots of visitors arriving in Verwood. The Saturday morning began with Geln playing a friendly match for Rosgarth resulting in a victory by 8 to 0.
A walk to Moors Valley Country Park followed with cake and a drink in the cafe. After a few minutes searching for Joy we returned for an afternoon of football watching England struggle against Wales (much worse to come against Northern Ireland).
In the evening we had a buffet tea and lit the chiminea before sitting out till dark. Some of the pictures look pretty good and Jane had done some cards reminding Joy and Robin of the events that took place in 1955. It was a lovely thought and was greatly enjoyed.
Back inside we had a murder mystery which went down well. Sandra managed to fool all but Jerry, Keith and Joy. Amid much over-acting, the clues mounted up and Mark revealed his secret life in the tool shed.
The following day we were in the New Forest starting at Burley and ending at Hyde.
