Argyle were a little unlucky yesterday I thought although the poor defending from the corner almost deserved to see them go out. I hate Watford. I saw them knock Plymouth out in 1983 and there was the semi final the following year as well. They have become a team I love to hate and they will deservedly be in the Championship shortly. The way they played against Ipswich and Plymouth suggests they will struggle there as well.
On a happier, more positive note, Glen's team won again making it 2 league wins for the year. They played at Bridport which meant an hour's drive which was made worthwhile by a hat trick from Eric. The game was goalless after the first half but Eric cut inside the defender early in the second period to slot home. Glen went on a mazy run and set up the second, squaring a lovely ball which was thumped home. A goal was pulled back leading a few anxious moments but the third made it comfortable and there could have been more.
Rossgarth have a genuine chance of staying up now having leapfrogged Wimborne with several games in hand.
